Justice Minister visits Governor Rijna

Dutch Justice Minister Ard van der Steur with Lieutenant-Governor Edison Rijna

Kralendijk- The Dutch Minister of Justice, Ard van der Steur has had an official meeting with Lieutenant Governor Edison Rijna. A number of topics was discussed. Gezaghebber Rijna said to expect an excellent cooperation with the Justice Minister. Van der Steur was on Bonaire for the inauguration of the new Chief of Police for the Police force of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. Before that he had meetings with his counterparts of Sint Maarten, Aruba and CuraƧao.

Van der Steur described his visit to Bonaire and the swearing in of Jose Rosales as new Chief of Police as the high point of his visit to the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
