Kralendijk – Last Friday the graduation ceremony took place at the Education Institute Bonaire, the OIB. Students from different study programs and levels received a diploma, 45 in total.
Seven students from Belastingrecht Caribisch Nederland received their diploma for the module Formal Tax Law. Five students from Middel Management MBO4 proudly received their diploma and BOPEC staff followed an English course at OIB and received their diploma together with many more proud students.
Owner Gerty Koffijberg also had good news, the training institute has received the NRTO quality mark. This hallmark is the recognition for quality and professionalism in the private training sector.
Thanks to the NRTO quality mark, customers can assume that OIB meets high quality requirements in terms of transparency about products and services, adequate service provision, professional contact with customers and expertise of staff.
An independent, external certification body assesses whether a supplier meets the quality requirements. The NRTO quality mark is issued by the Dutch Council for Training and Education (NRTO), the trade association for private trainers.
With this recognition the educational institute hopes to train more students in 2019 to create opportunities for local job-seekers in the growing labor market of Bonaire.
