WILLEMSTAD – This Saturday, Curaçao will again participate in the worldwide promotion World Cleanup Day.
The goal is to clean up as much waste as possible worldwide and to get attention for questions about the pollution problem both locally and internationally. More than 3,300 people in Curaçao have now registered to be part of the largest cleaning action of the island and will roll up their sleeves that morning to clean 109 neighborhoods and 9
dive sites so they can be cleaner and more beautiful.
The largest partners that make the cleaning campaign possible again this year are the Ministry of SOAW, Minister Hensley Koeiman, the Ministry of Health, Nature and Environment and Minister Mrs. Suzanne Camelia-Römer. The organization, World Cleanup Day Curaçao, is also grateful for the close cooperation with Selikor N.V. and its director Mr. Boil.
