Airport Bonaire Receives 3 Bids for Short-Term Modifcations

Kralendijk- Bonaire International Airport (BIA) has recently closed off a public bidding phase for short-term improvements to be made at the airport. Three of the five selected contractors have decided to submit a bid. The envelopes with the bids price were opened by notary-public Aniek Schouten in the presence of BIA Management and architect Ronny Lobo from Atelier Lobo & Raymann / Associated Consulting Engineers N.V. who is providing support to the airport in the process.
The parties which put in a bid are BonNed Contractors B.V. for a sum of 2,433,915.00 dollars, Bouwmaatschappij Bonaire B.V. for a sum of 2,597,500.00 and Van Boekel Zeeland B.V. for a total of 3,831,469.13 dollars.
BIA Management and the consultant will now proceed to review the bids and come up with a choice and awarding of the contract for the work to be executed.
