THE BOTTOM-The Public Entity Saba (PES) has announced its annual end-of-year fireworks celebrations, with the first display scheduled for December 28th at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from Airport Road in Lower Hell’s Gate, which will be closed to traffic from 6:30 p.m.
Spectators are advised to park above Stanford’s house, ensuring vehicles face uphill to allow emergency access.
On New Year’s Eve, a second fireworks display organized by Juliana’s Hotel and Tropics Café will light up the sky from midnight to 3:00 a.m. Fireworks will be launched from Juliana’s Hotel car park, which will be closed to the public for safety. PES reminds the public that fireworks can only be lit between December 28th and January 1st, urging everyone to do so safely and responsibly. Spectators are asked to find safe viewing spots and follow guidance from emergency services during both events.
