Saba Will Execute Emergency Training between May 7 and 9
The Bottom, Saba- A disaster management exercise will take place on Saba during the week of May 7th through May 9th; the objective of such activities is to learn. This year we will be tackling infectious diseases. On May 10th, plans and procedures will be adapted based on the learning experience.
All emergency services, including the Marines, will take part in the exercise. Residents might see emergency services going to emergency drills or emergency personnel walking around in protective clothing.
On Wednesday afternoon, there will be no clinic hours in the hospital. You can contact the hospital and ambulances for emergencies. If a real-life emergency occurs, the exercise will be put on hold or canceled.
Volunteers still needed for Wednesday afternoon. If you would like to volunteer, please contact [email protected].
