A suspect was detained this morning related to a reported case of rape.
This morning, Monday May 8th 2017, the man O.A.R. was arrested on Sint Eustatius. The man is suspect in a raping case.
The arrest was made by the police KPCN (Korps Politie Caribisch Nederland) and by order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office BES. A search was conducted this morning in the suspect’s home. Articles were confiscated related to the investigation.
The prosecutor’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
