Temporary Closure of Bonaire Library Due to Relocation
KRALENDIJK – The Public Library of Bonaire will relocate in March 2025 to a new location on Kaya Amsterdam, a temporary facility while awaiting a permanent establishment in the city center.
To ensure a smooth transition, the library will be temporarily closed from February 10 to March 5. During this period, physical lending services and computer access will not be available.
To accommodate members, loan periods will be extended, and they will temporarily be allowed to borrow eight books instead of five. The online collection will remain accessible via the library portal. For urgent inquiries, the team can be reached via email ([email protected]), and updates will be provided on the website and social media.
Enhancements
The new location will offer modern facilities, an expanded collection, and more space for community events. Department head Jennifer Pocornie-Martis emphasizes that this relocation is a significant step toward enhancing the library experience.
