ORANJESTAD, St. Eustatius – A group of local car enthusiasts gathered over the weekend for a car audio and lifestyle event organized by Blue Island Gem Events, marking a return to the local events scene.

The event, held on Saturday, April 4, brought together six participants under the theme “Wheelz and Trillz Park and Lime.” The focus was on car audio systems, with participants showcasing their setups and competing in categories such as loudest and cleanest sound, as well as overall vehicle presentation.

Car culture played a central role throughout the evening, with participants highlighting both the technical and aesthetic aspects of their vehicles. Jason Lall, with his Jeep “Evil Eye,” received the award for best detailed car, while Alvin Brown, also known as “Mr Playboii,” took home the prize for cleanest sound.

In addition to performance-based categories, punctuality and presentation were also emphasized, reflecting the standards expected when representing St. Eustatius at regional events. All participants received medals and gifts in recognition of their involvement.

The event drew a crowd of spectators, with bystanders gathering to enjoy the music and atmosphere, with some taking to the dance floor.
