First Group of Z Air Flight Crew Undergoes Simulator Training for New Jet Aircraft
WILLEMSTAD/KRALENDIJK – A first group of pilots from Z Air is currently in Brazil undergoing simulator training to operate the two new Embraer 140 jet aircraft that will be introduced into service in coming weeks.
The new jets will significantly expand the airline’s reach, including regular flights to Sint Maarten and increased services to destinations like Colombia.
While Z Air Director René Winkel could not provide a specific dateyet for the aircraft’s entry into service, he confirmed that the process for deployment of the new jets is progressing according to schedule.
More Seats
The Embraer 140 jets are equipped with 44 seats. In addition to covering greater distances, these aircraft fly faster than the current Saab planes, which Z Air will continue to use for inter-island flights.
