PHILIPSBURG- The Sint-Maarten Police Force is investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday morning, January 12, 2025, involving a motorcycle and a coaster bus on W.J.A. Nisbeth Road near the Police Station. 

The collision happened when the bus, exiting a car park, failed to yield to the motorcycle on the priority road, resulting in a crash. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was treated on-site before being transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center. 

The extent of the injuries remains unknown. The Traffic Department is investigating the incident, as both vehicles had been moved before law enforcement arrived.
