Something you can not miss before you leave the island: the many ‘Happy Hours’ on the island. Bonaire is not necessarily the place to be for wild parties, but rich in Happy Hours. You can enjoy these almost every day of the week. We have put together an overview of the finest Happy Hours, so that you -as visitor or resident alike- do not miss anything!

• 1. Coco Beach : Party to Caribbean Sounds

Every Friday you can enjoy a Happy Hour at Coco Beach. Even better is that it is actually no Happy Hour, but happy 2 hours. Instead of Happy Hour from 6 – 7 this has been extended by an hour. You can now enjoy drinks from 5 – 7 with tasty snacks right on the beach. After the friendly priced drinks and the sun has set, you can party to Caribbean sounds until midnight.

• 2. Islander: Two Happy Hours

This place is the king of the Happy Hours with not 1, but 2 Happy Hours on one evening. Every Wednesday evening you can enjoy the first happy hour from 5 – 7 PM. While DJ Veloce takes care of the music, the second round starts at 11 PM which lasts until Midnight. Combine your party night with some nicely priced drinks. 

• 3. Spice Beach Club: Chill & Grill

Spice is a beach club where you can enjoy the sunbeams on a beach bed during the day. In addition to the sunbathing, you can also enjoy a Happy Hour every day at Spice. From Monday to Thursday, you can enjoy a cold drink during happy hour from 6 – 7 PM. On Fridays there are no less than 2 rounds of happy hour. From 5:30 – 6:30 PM and from 7:30 – 8:30 PM. Besides the Happy Hour there is also the possibility to do the ‘Friday Chill and Grill’. Until 10 PM you have an a la carte BBQ. Great to combine a drink with the ‘Chill and Grill’ and enjoy a beautiful sunset. On Saturday there is a Happy Hour from 6 – 7 PM and on Sunday there are again 2 rounds. From 2 – 3 PM and from 4 – 5 PM. While laying in the sun all Sunday long, you can enjoy a couple of drinks.

• 4. The Beach Hut Bonaire: Spectacular View

This bar is located on Sorobon Beach, the windsurfing paradise of Bonaire. On Sundays there is happy hour from 5 – 6 PM. If you fancy a relaxed day at the beach, with a cocktail and a good vibe, you are at the right address here.

• 5. Karels Beach Bar: Right on the Boulevard

At this unique bar on the boulevard in Kralendijk it is Happy Hour every day from 5 – 7. You can enjoy a delicious drink surrounded by crystal clear water. Besides a drink you can also enjoy fresh fish and other tasty dishes.
