Kralendijk- In spite of some criticism on the new foundation in charge of organizing carnival in Bonaire, it can be said that the parade in Bonaire grows bigger and more luxorious year over year.
Although the ‘Gran Marcha’ is still much smaller than on sister islands Curaçao and Aruba, the parade has certainly reached the same level of creativity and detail.
Many people had come out to see the revelers in the street of Playa and the atmosphere was in general quite festive. After a few years of absence, the Peruvians on the island to the delight of spectators participated again with a group of their own: ‘Grupo Carnaval Yawar Perú 2018’.
