Kralendijk- Sometimes the life of a Commissioner actually has some fun elements. This became apparent when earlier this week, commissioner Tjin Asjoe got to meet the 5 candidates who will be participating in the Miss Tourism Bonaire 2019 pageant.

The candidates are normally officially installed by the Island Governor, but was done this by Tjin Asjoe in his capacity of Commissioner of Tourism. The commissioner held a motivational speech for the candidates and pointed out the importance of the function for the promotion of Bonaire.

After the ‘official part’, the commissioner, the candidates and Miss Tourism Bonaire 2018, Carolin Coffie, posed on the stairs of the Government Building.
