Minister of Justice and Security Visits Fire Department on Bonaire

KRALENDIJK – Minister of Justice and Security, David van Weel, recently conducted a working visit to the Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department (BKCN) on Bonaire.
The minister became acquainted with the fire department and gained insights into the challenges and developments faced by firefighters on the islands.
During a tour of the fire station, the minister attended a rescue demonstration and received a presentation on the core tasks and operations of the department. He also engaged in an open roundtable discussion with firefighters, where they shared their experiences and ideas about their work and working conditions.
