ORANJESTAD- Earlier this week Governor Alida Francis of St. Eustatius hosted the National Ombudsman, Reinier van Zutphen, and Stephan Sjouke at her office, continuing their annual tradition of collaboration. 

Their discussions focused on key issues affecting the island, including the economic impact of the recently implemented social minimum, connectivity, electricity subsidies, the integrity bureau, and enforcement. 

The meeting highlighted ongoing efforts to address community concerns and improve governance on the island.
