Public Prosecutor’s Office Appeals for Witnesses After Downtown Kralendijk Shooting

KRALENDIJK – The Public Prosecution Service (OM) is seeking assistance from the public in investigating the shooting incident that took place on February 2.

A male suspect fired multiple targeted shots at a person inside a dark-colored car. The victim sustained injuries as a result. At the time of the incident, numerous people were present in the area, including both pedestrians and motorists. This put the lives and safety of bystanders in serious danger.

On February 3, both the shooter and an accomplice were arrested. The Public Prosecution Service BES is working closely with the police to conduct a thorough investigation and establish the facts of the case.

To clarify what happened, the Prosecutor’s Office is calling on witnesses to come forward with any relevant information. This may include observations, audio or video recordings, or any other details that could contribute to the investigation.
