Kralendijk- Since 2012, ROA CN has been a bridge between vocational education (mbo) and the labor market on Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba contributing to an alignment between the supply of vocational education and the demand from employers for having well-trained, local employees.

Vocational students must attend an internship at recognized training companies where certified job trainers (‘leermeesters’) can supervise them during this period. ROA CN has not only provided for the recognition of training companies on the three islands for many years, but also for job trainer courses and workshops for the optimal guidance of vocational students during their internship.

According to ROA, Leermeester 2.0: The Next Level is an upgrade of the existing three-day job trainer course (in dutch ‘leermeestertraining’). Because of the developments that have taken place in the education and local labor market in the last years ROA CN upgraded the trainers course, which nowadays includes an intake interview and registration for the job trainer course through the website of ROA CN.
