State Secretary Knops visits Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao
State Secretary Knops (Interior and Kingdom Relations) pays an introductory visit to the three Windward Islands from Monday January 8th till Sunday January 13th, 2018.
During his first visit to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, the State Secretary will meet the officials of the Islands and speak with representatives of the business community, social organizations and NGOs.
“I am delighted that I am able to visit this part of our Kingdom immediately at the beginning of 2018,” said State Secretary Knops. “After my recent visit to the Windward Islands, I think it is important to get acquainted with Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao quickly. I want to use the trip to hear what challenges the two countries and the public entity have, what ambitions they have and how we can shape the further cooperation. In addition, I would like to use the work visits and meetings to get an impression of life and work on the three islands”.
The program of State Secretary Knops starts on Monday morning January 8th on Bonaire. He arrives on Tuesday January 9th in the evening on Curaçao. Then the State Secretary will visit Aruba, where he will arrive in the afternoon of Thursday January 11th .
