WILLEMSTAD/PHILIPSBURG- In 2025, the Caribbean Guilder will be introduced, featuring banknotes inspired by the underwater world of Curaçao and St. Maarten. 

The front of the banknotes showcases colorful marine life, while the back displays historical and cultural landmarks. Notably, the front has a traditional horizontal layout, and the back is vertically oriented.

The series includes five denominations: 10 Cg, 20 Cg, 50 Cg, 100 Cg, and 200 Cg. The new banknotes will be brought in circulation starting March 31, 2025. The new Caribbean Guilder has the same value as the old Antillean Guilders, still being used on both islands.
