Coastguard stops drug boat again after sea chase

WILLEMSTAD – The Coast Guard arrested a suspicious boat with several people on board on Saturday morning.
After a chase and the use of warning shots, the boat was forced to stop. On board were five Venezuelan men carrying drug packages.
The Coast Guard’s Metal Shark guided the boat to the Coast Guard jetty where the five men and the drug packages were handed over to the Curaçao Police Force (KPCN) for further investigation.
