Sint Maarten Police Heighten Operations for End-of-Year Safety
PHILIPSBURG- The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) has intensified its operations to enhance safety during the festive season, focusing on preventing criminal activities and ensuring public security.
Increased surveillance is being conducted on businesses targeted by theft and robbery, while patrols and detectives work to deter further crimes and apprehend offenders with outstanding warrants.
Proactive measures include traffic enforcement, vehicle searches, and addressing congestion in areas like Cole Bay and Simpson Bay. Visible police presence in Philipsburg’s busy areas, particularly the boardwalk, aims to ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors. KPSM advises the public to remain vigilant, secure valuables, and avoid isolated areas.
