Board reshuffeling in Statia and Saba Chamber
THE BOTTOM – The Statia/Saba Chamber of Commerce is embracing a new era of leadership following a significant reshuffle of its executive board. This strategic transition aims to strengthen business advocacy, drive economic growth, and ensure that the Chamber remains a vital resource for local entrepreneurs.
The newly appointed leadership team includes Daniela Richardson as President, Jarno Kniff as Vice President, Mike Stamm as Treasurer, and Vaughn Sams and Ebbie Schmidt as Board Members. This marks a notable shift, with Richardson stepping into the presidency, while former President Ebbie Schmidt transitions to a board member role. Kniff continues as Vice President, Stamm moves from board member to Treasurer, and Sams shifts from Treasurer to a general board position.
The Chamber expresses gratitude to its outgoing leadership team for their dedication and contributions. Ebbie Schmidt previously served as President, Vaughn Sams as Treasurer, Mike Stamm as a Board Member, and Daniela Richardson also as a Board Member before taking on her new role.
The newly structured board is committed to fostering business development, strengthening collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring the Chamber remains proactive in addressing the evolving needs of the local business community.
As part of the Chamber’s governance framework, the general election process begins in December, allowing members to participate in leadership selection and influence the organization’s future direction.
“Being President of the Chamber of Commerce is not just about holding a title; it is about taking action and making a real impact on our business community,” said newly appointed President Daniela Richardson. “I am dedicated to working diligently for our members, ensuring resilience and prosperity in an ever-changing economy. Together, we can build a brighter future for our businesses and our community.”
