Kralendijk- Between June 4th and June 21th 2019 driving instructors of the Koninklijke Marechaussee (Royal Military Police) are training the staff of the Koninklijke Marechausee on Bonaire in driving skills.
This is a so called VPV-B training (Improved police skills license B). The driving training includes driving with higher speeds, with the use of the two tone horn and blue flashing light. This happens on public roads, in the urban and rural area (also in the city center) and in the “mondi”.
The Koninklijke Marechaussee says they find it important to share this information, so that the general public is are aware that what may be seen on the road these days, is actually a training situation.
