Kralendijk- On September 26 and 27 a so called ‘Data Bootcamp’ was executed at ROA CN in Bonaire.
All parties present shared the importance of data exchange and the added value of collaboration. By mapping data requirements and sharing data, policymakers can increase their knowledge, make policy more effective and thus better serve the labor market and education.
The Data “BootCamp” was mainly dominated by the data present and missing within the education and labor market of the Caribbean Netherlands. The Data “BootCamp” has led to a collaboration, with some initiatives already being taken up. It is planned to give a follow-up session to the Data “BootCamp”.
Participants
The bootcamp saw participation from ROA, Central Bureau of Statistics Bonaire; Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland Social Affairs and Employment unit and Education, Culture and Science; Public Entity Bonaire, Public Entity St. Eustatius, Scholengemeenschap Bonaire (SGB) and Fundashon Forma.
