Marigot, St. Martin- A couple visiting their son in St. Barth has been tested positive for infection with the COVID-19 virus in the hospital of Marigot, on the French side of the island.
The two were on their way to France and made a stop-over on Sint Maarten. The couple was picked out of the line at the Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA), after a report from Sint Barths that their son had tested positive. Today it turned out that they too have contracted the virus. Their health situation, according to authorities on the French side, is ‘not alarming’.
More infections?
The health authorities in the French part of St Maarten are still keeping a couple in seclusion on suspicion of infection with the virus. They just arrived from Paris.
