Kralendijk- Air Handling Service Bonaire (AHSB), one of Flamingo Airport’s two main ground handlers, has won an important quality award from United Airlines.

The award given to AHSB is in recognition of achieving various performance goals in the second quarter of 2019 , when it comes to the handling of United’s flights at Flamingo Airport.

Angel Ramirez, Managing Director Canada & Caribbean Airports Operations United Airlines, said in a short speech to AHSB Management and staff, that the quality of service provided by the AHSB staff is being recognized by the airline.

“You guys ensure that every passenger, every day, on every flight get the best possible customer service from United”, said Ramirez, who added it was important for the airline to recognized quality achievements as shown by AHSB.

The United Airlines manager also explained that at airports like Newark, which are congested, arriving on time makes all the difference. “It is by turning the airport around and getting them back out is the way we ensure that our customers can make their connecting flights in our busy hubs,” said Ramirez.
