Bonaire Showcases Itself at Prestigious Travel Event in New York
KRALENDIJK – This week, Bonaire prominently presented itself on the international travel market during Travmedia’s International Media Marketplace (IMM) 2025 in New York City. The event, held annually, connects leading journalists, editors, influencers, and media platforms with representatives from the travel industry, providing Bonaire with a unique opportunity to put the island on the radar of the global media.
The Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), in collaboration with its public relations agency, Diamond PR, worked to highlight the island’s offerings. During the event on January 23, TCB held more than twenty one-on-one meetings with esteemed media outlets such as USA Today 10Best, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, BBC Travel, and Forbes.
“Participating in IMM allows us to present Bonaire personally and authentically to the international press,” said a TCB spokesperson. “By showcasing the unique aspects of our island, we are building lasting connections and increasing our visibility in the global travel market.”
In addition to IMM, Bonaire is also gearing up for another significant promotional activity: this weekend, the island will be represented at the Travel & Adventure Show in New York. Alongside six partners from the tourism sector, Bonaire will showcase its offerings at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on January 25 and 26, where thousands of visitors are expected to attend.
Through its strategic participation in high-profile events, Bonaire underscores its ambition to remain a beloved travel destination for visitors from around the world.
