Kralendijk- The four candidates of the Miss Bonaire Tourism pageant are continuing their extensive program to familiarize themselves with all that Bonaire’s tourism sector has to offer.

In the past week the candidates got various lectures, among others from TCB PR Officer Rolando Marin and TCB General Manager Maurice Adriaens. This weekend they also met Windsurf expert and entrepreneur Elvis Martinus, who shared with the candidates the ins and outs of the windsurfing business. They also experienced first-hand what windsurfing is all about.

The idea is that the winner of the Miss Tourism election, will help with the promotion of the island as tourism destination. The efforts are coordinated by Angelo Domacassé, who has an enormous experience in organizing beauty pageants on the island, such as Bonaire Teen Model and Mr. and Miss Teen Bonaire. Domacassé was also the artistic director of the Bonaire-show which was held in Cuba last year.
