Kralendijk – The government of Bonaire will be placing a number of traffic mirrors at various dangerous intersections on the island.
The mirrors are placed in the context of the recently approved Traffic Ordinance and will help improve road safety.
In the course of last week, employees of Public Works could be seen placing the mirrors at the intersection of the Kaya Gob. Nicolaas Debrot Blvd with the Kaya Zephir close to Harbor Village and at the intersection of the Kaya Papa Cornes with the Kaya Rosaura in Antriol.
Government has stated that they will actively work to improve safety on the island’s public roads.
