KRALENDIJK – A delegation from Bonaire’s Island Council has traveled to the Netherlands for important discussions with Dutch policymakers. The meetings aim to strengthen collaboration between Bonaire and the Netherlands.

During their visit, the council members will also attend the launch of a portrait book compiled by a youth think tank. The book, featuring stories from 33 young people from Bonaire and the Netherlands, provides insights and inspiration about the future of Bonaire.

The trip highlights the Island Council’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Netherlands and promoting youth participation. The delegation will return on January 29, 2025, for the next Island Council meeting.
