Island Governor Rijna Receives Miss Tourism Candidates

Kralendijk- Recently, the four candidates who will participate in the June 2018 election of Miss Tourism Island visited Governor Edison Rijna at the Government office.
The candidates received information from Rijna about the meaning of the flag and the weapon of Bonaire. Governor Rijna also provided the candidates with a pin carrying the Coat of Arms of the island.
Commissioner Hubert (Ibi) Martis, provided the young ladies with information about the inner workings of Local Government and how the administrative apparatus functions.
At the end of the visit, the candidates thanked Governor Edison Rijna and Deputy Hubert Martis for the information they received.
