Official Opening of Winair’s New Headquarters
Philipsburg – Sint Maarten based Winair has begun a new chapter in its history books as they officially re-opened their new headquarters adjacent to Princess Juliana International Airport with a ribbon cutting ceremony this May 29, 2019 following the soft opening on April 15.
The new hurricane resistant building is located on exactly the same spot as the old building which was devastated by hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017.
Winair’s co-founder Captain George Greaux Sr., Brenda Wathey daughter of co-founder C.N. Wathey, invited guests and Winair staff witnessed the official ribbon-cutting performed by Minister of TEATT Stuart Johnson and Netherlands representative Mr Chris Johnson, together with our chairman of the supervisory board Mr George Greaux Jr., President & CEO Mr. Michael Cleaver and Vice President & CFO Mr. Roberto Gibbs.
Winair says to be looking forward to a bright future of growth and say they are positive that they will stand strong and steadfast against any force, ‘natural or otherwise’.
