The Bottom, Saba- Saba will have a full fledged Event Calendar for the year 2018, outlining all events to take place on the island.

“Saba is a small island that forms part of the Dutch Caribbean. Our little island has a rich cultural background and based on that it was decided to do a Calendar of Events 2018, and the goal behind of this is based on economics. The main goal for this booklet is to try as much as possible to assist in boosting the economic activities on the island”, according to the introduction in the Event Calendar.

The Calendar gives an overview of both international and national days of observance, but more importantly also provides information on events to take place on the island such as the Hell’s Gate Triathlon in January, the Saba Restaurant Week taking place in April and an agricultural fair to take place in May 2018.

The Calendar will be helpful for locals and visitors alike as it gives a good overview of all that can be done throughout the year on the smallest Dutch Caribbean island. The lineup of events can be considered quite interesting and, taking into account the limited resources of the island, also quite impressive.
