Oranjestad, St. Eustatius- The Lions Club on St. Eustatius will be organizing a fund raiser, on the occasion of its 40^th anniversary.

The Club wants to celebrate this milestone with in style with a Grant Gala Fundraising Dinner& Dance at the Ernest van Putten Youth Center, better known as the ‘Lions Den’. The proceeds of this fundraiser are going to the improvement of our facilities.

The Den plays a central role in many events on the islands, such as  weddings and anniversaries, for meetings, fundraising, the yearly Carnival and for Taste of the Cultures.

Challenges

According to the Lions Club, it is increasingly difficult to finance the regular upkeep of the Den and necessary improvements with the income from rent. Cost of repairs caused by the recent hurricanes have added to this.

Companies and organization can become a sponsor of the Grant Gala Fundraising Dinner & Dance, which will take place on Saturday February23^rd , starting at 8.00 PM at the Ernest van Putten Youth Center.

Sponsors can choose from various sponsor packages, starting at 500 dollars to the most expensive (Diamond sponsorship), for a total contribution of 5000 dollars..
