Trouble with STUCO engines causes power outages on St. Eustatius

ORANJESTAD – Unexpected failures on two of STUCO’s largest engines on Monday has caused power outages on the island. According to a press release by the Company, technicians are carrying out an investigation to identify the root cause of the problem.
STUCO also says that the Company is trying to trouble shoot and resolve the issue. The electricity distributor also thanks customers on the island for their patience.
