Wild Bird Rehab Center Bonaire tenth recipient of Cadushy Distillery donation

KRALENDIJKThe Cadushy Distillery has selected the Wild Bird Rehab Center Bonaire as the recipient of its tenth donation, presented as part of the company’s 15-year anniversary celebration.

Founded in 2018 and led by Elly Albers, the center plays a crucial role in the protection and rehabilitation of Bonaire’s wild birds, including the island’s iconic flamingo.

“The donation supports the Flamingo Conservation Initiative, which focuses on undernourished flamingo chicks that leave their nests prematurely. The funds will be used for emergency supplies, operational costs, and research,” says Cadushy Director Eric Gietman regarding the donation.

Through this support, The Cadushy Distillery emphasizes its commitment to sustainability and nature conservation on Bonaire. The distillery also encourages people to visit Wild Bird Rehab and support the organization’s initiatives.
