Applications for VOG, Naturalization Test, and Firearm License Simplified
KRALENDIJK – Starting from February 18, 2025, applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), a naturalization test, and a firearm license under the BES Firearms Act will become easier. Due to changes in the procedure, residents will need to go through fewer administrative steps.
One important change is that proof of registration will no longer be required for these applications. This means that a visit to the Civil Affairs Department to collect this document will no longer be necessary.
The application process for a VOG has also changed. Starting February 18, a fully completed and signed application form, along with proof of payment, will be sufficient.
More details about the application procedures and required forms are available through the Office of the Governor.
