2nd Restaurant Week takes place on Saba

This year the restaurant week on Saba will be held for the second time.

The Bottom, Saba – Sunday April 2nd saw the start of the second Restaurant Week on Saba, which will conclude on the upcoming Sunday, April 9th.

After the resounding success of the first Restaurant Week in September 2016, it was decided to make this a bi-annual event. This development was met with much enthusiasm from the community of Saba, which looks towards this event as an opportunity to sample the varied offerings of Saba’s culinary scene. Restaurant Week Saba is based on special two course lunch menus and/or three course dinner menus offered by the restaurants at a set low price.

Many restaurants on Saba are participating in April’s event. These restaurants include: Brigadoon, Chez Bubba Bistro, The Hideaway, Island Flavor, the Long Haul Grill, Queen’s Gardens, Scout’s Place, Sea View and Tropics Café.

The event has been sponsored by a group of sponsors, including Dawn II, The Saba Ferry, Dave Levenstone- DJ Davio, Good Day Saba Turnover, Divico Distributors, Fayad Fruits and Vegetables, Island Communication Services Saba, the Public Entity Saba, Mutty’s Pride, My Store & Deli Delights, Saba Island Properties and the Saba Tourist Bureau. The Commissioner of Tourism Bruce Zagers would like to encourage the community to continue to enjoy Restaurant Week Saba and to help support the local hospitality industry.
