AA Adds Three Additional Flights on Bonaire Route

American Airlines is adding three extra return flights to Bonaire, even before the start of the first flight this month.

American Airlines is adding three extra return flights to Bonaire, even before the start of the first flight this month.

Kralendijk- American Airlines has informed that they will be adding extra flights to the schedule starting December 15th thru March 30th, 2019. The announcement comes before the execution on the first flight on June 9, 2018.

The extra flights will be executed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in addition to the Saturday flight operated by an Airbus 319 with 128 seats. The additional flights were loaded in the American Airlines system on June 2nd, 2018 and are already bookable.

After March and moving forward it is the intention of the airline to continue to fly year round with these flights. No extra guarantee was required to secure these flights. The extra flights represent an extra seat capacity of over 5700 seats to Bonaire during the winter season 2018/2019.
 
According to American Airlines Network & Planning department the booking for the first flight when so well, that they felt confident there was sufficient demand for the additional flights.

According to American Airlines, most bookings are being generated from Miami, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and Charlotte. On May 31st American Airlines Vacations marketing program kicked off which will run until December 2018. Bonaire will also host a Destination Dinner on June 7th, 2018 in Miami with various large Travel Agents. These programs and platforms will also generate extra promotion for the island and will expand our promotional reach.

The Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) requests players in the tourism & accommodation sector of the island to continue to actively promote American Airlines within their various platforms. TCB said they are very excited about this opportunity with the additional flights to and from Bonaire from American Airlines and said they would build long-term partnership with American Airlines.
