Kralendijk- On Friday, December 29, the agreement between the Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) and American Airlines for the execution of direct flights between Miami International Airport and Bonaire International airport will be signed between the two parties.

Earlier week various media had already report that the American carrier would start in June 2018 with direct flights between the island and Miami. Meanwhile, the flights already appear in the airline’s global reservation system and can actually be booked.

Some observers have expressed surprise about the ticket prices used so far that are well above the price for a flight between Curaçao and Miami or between Aruba and Miami.

American Airlines will, as far as is known, only carry 1 flight per week from and to Bonaire International Airport.
