Willemstad- The Board of Directors (BOD) of EZ Air, Harald Linkels and Valdemar Marcha, yesterday received an update by the EZ Air Management Team on the progress made during the pre-operational phase at the airline. The airline at present is awaiting the arrival of their 2 newly acquired Beechcraft 1900D aircraft on the island.

Chief Pilot Franklin Antoin presented an overview of the overall planning for the activities to take place over the coming weeks. Antoin also updated the meeting on the training schedule for flight crew to be trained on the Beechcraft 1900. All other department heads provided a short update about matters pending in their respective department.

Details about the introductory schedule of flights between the islands were also discussed, as well as future plans for the airline and the schedule to be executed. Although a specific date for the launch of the first flight can still not been given, Management expects this to be a ‘matter of weeks’ now before the airline will become fully operational with scheduled flights.

Managing Director of EZ Air René Winkel at the end of the meeting thanked all present for their input and the great team spirit displayed during the hard work executed in recent weeks.
