Kralendijk- After living on Bonaire for more than 20 years, Irene Dingjan is leaving Bonaire and said goodbye to BONHATA members and business relations on Bonaire on Monday 16 April. She was part of the Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association for 8 years.

According to BONHATA Irene’s warm heart, passion and dedication for Bonaire were felt and seen everywhere; both on island and off island during the years she represented the island and BONHATA at trade shows, meetings, and conferences and events within the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association.

Business relations and BONHATA members were present at a farewell party for Irene, which was hosted at Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire. The Board of Directors of Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association had some nice words for the highly appreciated CEO of the association.

After all her hard work for years, Irene together with the Board of Directors finds that continuity of the priorities of the association and the island is crucial, especially in this important phase of Bonaire’s future. Irene will still stay involved in BONHATA during the coming months.
