Kralendijk- ContourGlobal Bonaire is expanding the power plant at Karpata in order to cope with the increasing demand of energy on Bonaire.
ContourGlobal will add 5 new machines to the power plant. They will be operational by August 2019. This investment will secure the energy supply on the island for the coming years.
ContourGlobal and WEB Bonaire N.V. are jointly pursuing the possibilities for expansion projects in order to provide a sustainable, reliable and affordable source of electricity for the island and its economy.
CountourGlobal says they realize the project can bring about some inconvenience to the road traffic during the transportation of the machines to Karpata, and thanks residents in advance for their patience and understanding.
