Oranjestad- The ambassador for India to Venezuela and the Caribbean Islands, Rahul Shrivastava and his delegation visited Sint Eustatius. They were received by commissioners Derrick Simmons and Charles Woodley.

Mr. Rahul Shrivastava, Mr. Pardeep Kumar, and Mr. G. Surender Reddy held talks with the two commisioners after a courtesy meeting with Acting Island Governor Julian Woodley. The program further comprised a visit to STUCO, NuStar, the harbor area, and a historical tour.

The Ambassador expressed the interest of the government of India to strengthen and further develop the friendship and the good relations between India and the Dutch Kingdom, and Sint Eustatius in particular.

Both parties discussed possible projects in Sint Eustatius with which India could assist by tapping into its vast resources and expertise. Ideas and contact information were exchanged, and the Commissioners were invited to visit the Ambassador in Venezuela to continue the discussions at a later date.
