As part of the Coral Reef Restoration Project Stenapa have clipped fragments of Elkhorn and Staghorn coral to be regenerated on coral ‘ladders’. These are several pieces of rope strung between bamboo and suspended in the water. The coral fragments are attached to the rope. Once they have shown enough growth they will be transplanted back onto the reef. Currently there is a film crew documenting the progress. Stay tuned for future footage!
