Additionally, more recently, meetings were held with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and various political leaders in the Netherlands to speak about the needed financing to start with the construction of the project.

According to FCB, the NIA is currently on behalf of FCB investigating the most viable options to secure the needed financing. The housing foundation sayid that they hope to get more clarity about the situation later this year.

FCB also said they hoped that a new government coalition in the Netherlands will provide more political support to realize the construction of affordable housing on the island.
