
The second World War was commemoratee today on Saba, with a wrath laying and a short speech by island-Governor J. Johnson.
The Bottom, Saba- Today Government officials, civil servants and SCS students gathered at the monument in The Bottom today to commemorate the Second World War.
The monument dedicated to those who lost their lives during World War II. Members of the Island and Executive Councils, along with the SCS students laid wreaths at the monument.
The Island Governor gave a speech, followed by a moment of silence. The moment of silence in Saba takes place at 2 PM, as this coincides with the commemoration in The Netherlands.
