The Bottom, Saba- Saba Electric Company (SEC) has received a visit from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK).

The delegation from EZK, consisting of Willem van der Heul and Mabel van Houten, was met by Commissioner Rolando Wilson, SEC Manager Dexter Johnson and Executive Assistant Justin Simmons.

Several topics were discussed, including the development of the first and second solar park projects on Saba. The Ministry of EZK financed the first phase of the solar park and also contributes financially to the second phase. The Public Entity Saba, SEC and EZK say they are keeping up the efforts to make electricity efficient and affordable for the people.
