Kralendijk- The press on Bonaire on Friday got a tour of the various social housing projects the Fundashon Cas Boneriano is constructing on the island.

Currently, the Corporation is constructing no less than 500 social houding units.

Present during the press trip were also commissioner Nina den Heyer and Island Councilwoman Daisy Coffee.

FCB is constructing several types of housing units, as part of the larger project, divided over various neighborhoods on the island.

Not all houses have the same size. Apart from smaller units for single households, there are also larger family homes with for instance 2 or even 3 bedrooms. The need for affordable housing on the island has always been much bigger than what FCB was able to offer.
